She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9, 1983. Her first job was the real estate industry. It was through this that she met her spouse Tarek El Moussa. The couple ran a profitable business up until the 2008 stock market crash, which saw many real estate investors and home flippers become bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa were close to losing everything due to the crash. After moving from a house which cost their $6,000 a year to a house that cost $700 and almost losing all of their belongings. Slowly, their business as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating a HGTV audition tape, which featured him and Christina flipping a house from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions, a production company located in New York City was the first to receive the tape. The executives loved Tarek as well as Christina. The couple signed an agreement in 2012 together with HGTV. The series "Flip of Flop", premiered on the 13th of April, 2013. Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017, the show broadcast 92 episode. The tape landed in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. They were in awe of Tarek along with Christina. They signed an official deal with HGTV in the year 2012. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. From 2013 until 2017, the show ran for 92 episodes over seven seasons. The show featured Christina and Tarek buying properties located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes in order to make them for profits. Tarek is in charge of the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running in a timely manner.
